Probability means the certainty of the outcome of an Event. Look at the example below to understand probability.
Example 1-
What is an Event or Process?
If we toss a coin, then tossing this coin is called an event or process.
What is the meaning of an Outcome or result?
After tossing the coin, either Head or Tail comes, Head or Tail is the outcome or result of the Event.

What is Confirmation or Certainty of Result?
Now after tossing the coin either head comes or tail comes. One of the two results is sure to come. The chance of getting Head is 50% and the chance of getting Tail is also 50%. Means there is 50% certainty of result.
How to find out the probability?
We represent probability with the letter P. The formula to calculate the probability is given below

Total no. of favorable outcomes or result means those outcomes which we want in an event. Like if we want head after tossing a coin then favorable outcome for us will be head. After tossing the coin either head or tail comes, in total no. of outcomes is two (2), then the probability of getting head will be
Question 1- If a dice, with numbers from 1 to 6, is thrown then what will be the probability of getting 4?
In this question the favorable outcome is only 1 since we need only digit 4 while the total outcome is 6 (all 6 digits of the dice are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) so the probability of getting 4 is

Question 2- A dice in which numbers from 1 to 6 are given, if that dice is rolled then what will be the probability of getting Even numbers?
There are 3 (three) favorable outcomes in this question since there are only 3 even digits 2, 4, and 6 in all the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of the dice, while the total outcome is 6 (all 6 digits of the dice are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) then the probability of this question will be
